Wordhoney was not always a magazine…

In fact, it began as a freelance writing business back in 2017.

But through several years of writing, learning, connecting, wrong turns, and letting go, Wordhoney as a freelance writing business eventually died and was refurbished several year later into something new: an artistic magazine that makes room for creatives of any medium to share, publish, and celebrate their work.

Wordhoney is a story of restoration.

It’s a story of how God can take the broken or dead things in our lives and breathe life and purpose back into them.

Just as we are made in the likeness of our Creator, we believe we are created to create. When we make art of any kind, we not only have the ability to tap into new creative depths within ourselves and inspire others to do the same, but we can also experience freedom, healing, and restoration.

Art matters.

Our hope is to create a space where faith and creativity intersect; to have a space that allows artists to be artists, no matter the medium they choose to express themselves or the season of life they’re in. Art is not just something we make—it’s something we live and it’s something we need to share with others.

Join us on the journey.
